Description

The Fanatec QR2 Wheel-Side is the metal quick release upgrade for Fanatec steering wheels with an exchangeable QR, designed to work with the new QR2 Base-Side system on modern ClubSport and Podium wheel bases. Machined from diecast aluminium and finished in black anodising, it delivers a rigid, flex-free connection that can handle the high torque levels of today’s direct drive bases while improving steering precision and consistency over the older QR1 design.

Once installed on a compatible wheel and paired with a QR2 Base-Side on your wheel base, the QR2 Wheel-Side fully supports High Torque Mode on ClubSport DD / DD+ and Podium DD wheel bases. It is compatible with all current QR2 Base-Side variants (Type-C for CSL DD / GT DD Pro, Type-F for ClubSport DD / DD+, and Type-M for Podium DD series), making it the recommended metal quick release option for serious sim racers who want a secure, future-proof mounting solution for their Fanatec wheels.
