Warranty Policy
Last updated: May 6, 2026
1. Overview
This Warranty Policy explains how warranty claims are handled for products purchased from Hobby Culture. By placing an order with us, you agree to the warranty terms described below.
2. Warranty Coverage
Warranty coverage depends on the product brand, product type, and the warranty terms provided by the manufacturer or supplier. Where a product includes a warranty, it generally covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover misuse, accidental damage, incorrect installation, modification, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improper use.
If a product page, invoice, or packaging states a specific warranty period, that stated period will apply.
3. Items Covered
Warranty may apply to eligible products such as wheels, pedals, shifters, accessories, and other sim racing equipment sold by Hobby Culture, subject to the manufacturer’s conditions. Some items, such as consumables, clearance items, used items, opened items, or custom-configured products, may have limited or no warranty coverage.
4. What Is Not Covered
Warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or abuse.
Damage caused by incorrect installation or setup.
Physical damage, impact damage, liquid damage, or power surge damage.
Normal wear and tear.
Unauthorized repair, modification, or tampering.
Compatibility issues caused by purchasing the wrong product for your setup.
Missing accessories or cosmetic issues not reported within the required claim period.
Problems caused by third-party software, firmware, drivers, or systems outside the product itself.
5. Warranty Period
The warranty period will follow the manufacturer’s stated warranty period unless otherwise specified on the product page or invoice. If no warranty period is stated, please contact us before purchase for confirmation.
6. How to Make a Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact us with:
Your order number.
Your name and contact details.
A clear description of the issue.
Photos or videos showing the problem.
Any supporting documents, if requested.
We may ask you to perform basic troubleshooting steps before approving a claim.
7. Claim Review
Once we receive your claim, we will review it and determine whether it is eligible under the warranty terms. If the claim is approved, we may offer repair, replacement, exchange, parts replacement, or other appropriate resolution depending on the product and the manufacturer’s policy.
If the claim is rejected, we will explain the reason where possible.
8. Shipping for Warranty Claims
Customers may be responsible for the cost of shipping a product back to us for inspection unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer or required under applicable law. If the claim is approved, return shipping or replacement shipping may be handled based on the specific case.
9. Dead on Arrival and Early Faults
If your product arrives damaged, defective, or not working properly, please notify us as soon as possible after delivery. Claims for transit damage or dead-on-arrival issues should be reported within 48 hours of receipt, with photos or videos as evidence.
10. Repairs and Replacement
If a repair or replacement is approved, the replacement item or repaired item may be new, refurbished, or equivalent depending on stock availability and manufacturer policy. A replacement does not automatically extend the original warranty period unless the manufacturer states otherwise.
11. Manufacturer Support
Some products may require direct support from the manufacturer or authorised service centre. In those cases, we may direct you to the correct support channel or assist with the warranty process where possible.
12. Final Decision
All warranty claims are subject to review and approval based on the product condition, claim details, and applicable manufacturer terms. Hobby Culture reserves the right to decline claims that do not meet the warranty requirements.
